Loudoun County has a comprehensive plan in place ensuring reasonable growth, sensible land use, preservation of green space and convenient, equal access to healthcare services for years to come.
In the coming months, the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors will vote on a proposal to up-zone Broadlands, allowing HCA to develop a hospital in an existing residential community that is already well-served by a hospital five miles away, as well as by other hospitals in nearby Fairfax County. If approved, the Board will override Loudoun’s comprehensive plan and approve a development that was previously denied by the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors on more than a dozen points of zoning law.
Your support is needed! Urge the Board of Supervisors to stick to their comprehensive plan and ensure that the next Loudoun hospital is built in our county’s most underserved area — the Dulles South/Route 50 corridor. Please take action today!
